If you have an issue in your home, such as cracking, movement/shifting, or foundation issues, you can book an in-home consultation for a Structural Engineer to review the problem in person. If you are undertaking a renovation and need to know if a wall is load-bearing, or what structural impacts the changes may have, we can also visit your home for a consultation. The fee for a home visit within the city of Winnipeg is $350 plus GST, paid in advance. For clients outside the city please email us for a quote. Where engineering drawings are required following a home consult, the fee for the home visit is deducted from the fee for drawings. Note that the home consultation fee covers the home visit and in-person guidance and recommendations, but does not include written follow-up reports, design, or engineered drawings. If a written report or drawings are required please note that these can be provided to you for additional fees.
